iPod mini’s battery replacement: Part 2
Today I received the battery for my old iPod mini and replaced it. The battery came with “tools” (two screwdrivers). I had a hard time unscrewing small screws because the flathead screwdriver was bigger than I needed it to be (and I had to use a file to fix that). Nevertheless, I fixed something that I thought was dead. Now I got another mp3 player.

To see the process of replacing the battery of iPod Mini (4GB) – read on… Read more »
The First Trojan
I just uninstalled Norton Internet Security, Installed AVG, scanned C:\ and found a trojan horse in Windows\system32 called firefox.exe (Trojan horse_c.RN) which Norton didn’t notice when scanned… Norton sucks
iPod Mini’s Battery Replacement
I just got a new battery (from eBay) for my Zen Microphoto for about $6 and easily replaced it. Now I ordered a new battery for my iPod mini which I used about 2 or 3 years ago (and which died about a year and a half ago or so) after I realized that it’s possible to replace it. I gave up and bought the Zen after watching the Neistat Brothers‘ video called “iPod’s dirty secret”.
Me and My ZEN
I was going to write about this a while ago, but been busy looking for a job and getting a new laptop (which I’ll talk about later). Man it’s been through a lot! My 8GB Creative Zen Microphoto, which I got after my 4GB iPod mini died is still alive!
First, I’ve dropped it a couple of times. After using it for about a year, it died somehow; wouldn’t turn on. But the customer service has been great, they replace it for me. First I had the black one, they replaced it with the one you see on your screen. Almost for free; as I remember, I payed about 30 bucks after they sent me the new one. I don’t even remember buying a warranty for it which is amazing.
The grey one… I used for a few months and about 2 or 3 weeks ago, when I was in Florida, I jumped into a pool with it. It got wet. Pretty fucking wet. I lost all hope and started thinking of getting a new mp3 player. But I did try to fix it. I poured a lot of alcohol on it (I did this to “push” the water that’s inside out) I wrapped it up in toilet paper and let it dry in my friend’s car (under the sun). 90 Fahrenheit… The next day I was able to turn it on. First it would turn off automatically, but after a few more days – it started working properly. Compared to my previous iPod, the Zen, as well as Creative’s customer service, is doing a great job and I’m still using it. To read what I LOVE about my “waterproof” and “shockproof” zen, read on. How Old do You Think I am?
So far, Average guess is: 30 years old! (3 guesses)._
Google Maps: New Street View
Google added a new feature that allows you to see the streets in 3D. It covers almost all of NYC, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island etc. You can “drag yourself” to any street/place; “move the camera” and see all sides of the street and even zoom in. There is also a Full-Screen mode. You can also “walk” anywhere using the arrows.
Game Advisor: your laptop doesn’t suck!
I just “tested” my old dell Inspiron 5150 laptop, from which I’m adding this post right now, on “Games For Windows” website (Requires IE6+) and I was surprised to find out that it can still run games like “Call of Duty 2″ and “Company of Heroes”, according to their “Game Advisor”, of course.

I was planning on buying a new laptop from Dell, or Sony. It will be either a gaming laptop like E1705 or some “lightweight traveler” like SONY VAIO SZ, or maybe something else…
The Messengers

This is one of the WORST movies I’ve ever seen. It is not really scary (as it is supposed to be) – I actually found it hilarious. It’s dumb, it does not have a plot and the ending is stupid. I would give it like 1 or 2 out of 10. Its not worth 11 bucks I payed for it…
